This site is under construction and revamping by a technically challenged person (self) so, if you dont see a pic you should see, or a particular horse or animal, please give me a moment to learn how to do it.  All pics from the previous site as well as the updated pics shall get to this site shortly.

And in the meantime, enjoy.

While horses are our primary objective, we simply cant ignore our other four and two legged friends.  We work closely with our local chapter of Chattooga County Animal Advocates as well as Pick-a-Pet adoptions.  We foster the homeless and the needy until they can be adopted.  If you are looking for a great dog or cat, do not hesitate to call and see what we may have.  Most of our dogs are horse and cat socialized before they leave.  They are housebroken, usually altered and up to date on shots and medical treatments.  Like our horses, they all come with a guarantee,  if you dont like it, it doesnt fit in, or whatever the reason, they may be brought back at any time.

Consider adoption before breeding.

And congratulations to Becky Morton of Daylilly Horse Farms who just left here with Billy Bob, the unwanted old beagle. I am so happy for both of them.

We also want to thank Tara and Mike for taking in "Crosby" a special little guy who was waiting four months for his special people.  He's home.
Fergie found her forever home with In the Air, a horsey home in SC.
Missy found her mommy and is the best dog ever with Chocomare of Dallas.  She loves being a house dog.
And I adopted a kitty personally.  Erin is her name and while she lost all her last kittens to traffic, she wont be losing anymore.

Sunkissed Acres is an Equine Rescue and Retirement facility.

Our goals:
...to rehabilitate and re-home those who are able to still be of service to others
... to offer a quality, safe, lifetime home for the aged and infirm
... to end the suffering of those who it is deemed necessary

Three new residents to our farm.  JR, an 18 yr. old QH/TB has slight case of ringbone that has been fused. A real go getter, a kind soul who was a child's horse in his previous life.  For adoption to the right home.

Gaisha,  a retired lady who will be part of our riding and theraputic facility with retirement.  Gaisha was previously an eventer who has worked hard for her owner for many years.  She is now here for the remainder of her days.  Not for adoption.

Pokey or Rascal.  A gorgeous 8 yr. old section A welch pony who did birthday parties.  Sadly, he was allowed to founder and is now on the road to recovery.  Will hopefully be for adoption to the right person.

Pics to follow of these kids.
