I come to your store and mostly buy books. I'm unemployed and the small check from that is very thankfully axcepted as a gift from God, who provides for us all.
I can't donate but have an idea for some momey raising. An old copy of the Summerville news had an ad that cought my eye. It offered to take photos at a business called"Pet Paws Day Spa" or something like that. I think it is on highway 27 in Penville. You could ask them who did the pictures for $10 . Maybe take clients, offer pics with horses, dogs, cats, a fence wall, etc. Offer props for the shots, even for the different holidays. Charge enough that you would make half the price of pics for a donation. The ad I saw was for December. Get a list of people, maybe set a time like Saturday when everything can work out for all. Maybe offer the picture taking at your show and other events. Who wouldn't like to have a picture of theirseles with a horse. Throw on a santa hat and they could use the pic for Christmas cards. They could be on the outside of the fence with foot on rail, etc.

Another idea: Put donation jars(whatever) in the beauty shops, nail Salons, etc. where people spend money as walk-in traffic. Place pictures, contact info. A feed store might be a good place to get donations.

It seems you have been doing this for quite some time and know more about what to try than I do. I just had your farm on my mind and hope that something good will come from these suggestions. Then God will have blessed us all. Thank you for your time and your gracious love that won't allow helpless creatues of God to suffer. You and they are in my prayers. (GET churches to take up for your cause. Most of them have good hearts and love to help- in money or time. )

You might contact Coosa Valley Equine, see if they recognize him from removing his eye. Might be worth an email or call.

Lori, thank you for all you did for Beau Jingles. They all come to us for a reason, and he touched more hearts and did more good in a few short days than most people would hope to achieve in a lifetime. Blessings to you both.

Lori,
Is it possible I could come out on a Sunday and do whatever might be needed to help out?

I have a 4 year pally who is one fat butterball! I can't believe someone could do this to an animal...

Please let me know what would be a good time for you, for me to come out.

Thank you in advance,
Tammy Parris
